Which Set Up ‘Fix Bad Broadband’ Campaign
Having the best VOIP service providers for business is important, but some high speed broadband customers’ providers aren’t meeting their expectations.
As part of a new analysis of findings from Speed Checker LTD which were taken in 2017 from January up until March, research showed that many customers were being left disappointed when paying for broadband speeds greater than 30Mbps.
Although 38 per cent of those that paid for lower broadband speeds of less than 10Mbps said the service they received was better than they had been expecting. Government Universal Service Obligation states that all households within the UK should not receive broadband service speeds of anything less than 10Mbps.
Households should be regularly checking their broadband speeds to make sure they’re receiving exactly what they’re paying for, and if any issues flag up customers should then report these to their service supplier who should rectify the problem.
Which.co.uk has set up a ‘Fix Bad Broadband’ campaign which aims to help customers across a variety of providers to find out the connection they receive using their free speed checker tool.
It breaks down each part of your connection, such as download and uploading speeds, to give you detailed information. As part of using this tool, they are also able to collate information from a wide range of areas and providers to help improve speeds in the future.
If you aren’t happy with what you are receiving then there’s also a tool which will allow you to make a direct complaint to your network.
